The weekend begins with a kick-off rally/dinner at the church Friday night at 6:30pm then we will split up to the guys' and girls' houses. This is a fun-filled weekend full of Bible Study, discipleship, fellowship and food. We will wrap up the weekend with a breakfast/Sunday school rally Sunday morning.

Bible Study: UNASHAMED

Focused on the Gospel, we will be studying passages from the Books of Romans and Acts in each session. We are called to live with confidence in the face of opposition, but many Christ-followers are living in fear and shame, apologizing for their beliefs. The Gospel gives us the ability to live with boldness in a world that opposes everything about God. We will explore four responses to the Gospel which give us confident hope and assurance in Christ. 

Leaders: Jake and Katie Meuret

Jake and Katie are both natives of San Antonio, TX, currently living in Irving, TX since getting married in May 2021. Jake is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University and a current student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Katie is currently pursuing her Masters in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University. They have served in various ministries around First Baptist Irving, and especially enjoy working with students, seeing them grow in their understanding and love of God and His Church.
